WHEN?

Any time is good, any age is the best!

WHERE?

Outdoors or at home. I don't like to lock you in a studio which says nothing about what you are like. This is my way of working, and it defines my style. Often a family activity can be a great idea.

HOW LONG DOES IT LAST?

You can choose anything from a mini session of one hour to a photographic documentary session of almost a whole day.

WHAT IS THE PERFECT TIME FOR THE SESSION?

There are two ideal times for an outdoor photo shoot – the first hour after sunrise, and one to two hours before sunset. At these times the light is softer, the shadows are longer and the temperature of the light is warmer. For sessions at home we need as much light as possible. I like to work with natural light (no flash) so the brighter your house is, the better.

WHAT SHOULD WE WEAR?

I recommend you avoid fluorescent colors and prints with drawings or intricate patterns. It is best to choose natural tones, soft and neutral colors that are not too distracting. The most important thing is that you feel comfortable, and... follow your style!

DO YOU TRAVEL?

I am based in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. Travel within the island of Gran Canaria is included for all sessions except MINI sessions. MINI sessions have a supplement of €20 for travel to any other place on the island outside of Las Palmas de GC. Please get in touch if you want me to travel to another island or location.

DO YOU MAKE US POSE?

My sessions are spontaneous, natural and above all full of emotions. I dedicate only 10 minutes to posing and photographing a family portrait.

CAN GRANDPARENTS, AUNTS, UNCLES, FRIENDS... PARTICIPATE IN THE SESSION?

Of course! But remember that there can be a maximum of 10 people. If you want me to photograph a family event (christening, communion, wedding) get in touch and I will give you an individual quote.

WHAT ABOUT OUR DOG?

I am a fan of animals. If one of your family members has four legs and is furry, you have to show how much you love them.

HOW DO WE BOOK?

You can book your session through the contact form on the website, by WhatsApp message, or by emailing me at magdalena.a.mosler@gmail.com.

HOW DO WE PAY?

Once the date and place of the session have been specified, you will have to pay a deposit of €50 via bank transfer or Bizum (put your name and the date of the session as the payment reference). You will pay the remaining amount later: before the session via bank transfer or Bizum, or on the day of the session in cash. When I receive the proof of payment of your deposit, I will send you an email with the confirmation and the details of the reservation along with the document that includes the terms and conditions of the reservation, and a form for the authorization for the publication of images (which is optional).

CAN WE CANCEL THE SESSION?

If you cancel the reservation by notifying me at least 24 hours before the session, you can change the date, but only once. If you cancel the session without prior notice, the deposit will not be refundable (except for reasons of force majeure). If it rains or the weather is very bad, we rearrange the session for a different day and time. A cloudy sky is no reason to cancel the session ;-)

DO YOU RETOUCH THE PHOTOS?

I make small adjustments to each image using a graphics editor, but I do not transform the images (I do not remove or add anything, I do not thin my models, I can only remove small imperfections from the skin if you wish) since naturalness and simplicity are basic pillars that define my style. I only convert photos to black and white if I think they suit that format well. I do not deliver the photographs in RAW format.

CAN WE CHOOSE THE IMAGES?

The selection of photographs is made by the Photographer. Trust my experience. I want the photos I choose to tell the story of your family.

WHEN WILL WE RECEIVE THE PHOTOS?

Your printed photographs will be prepared and ready for delivery within 14 working days. On the day your photos are delivered I send the digital files in high resolution (and also in a format for social networks) to your email address through Wetransfer. The process of preparing, printing and binding the photo album takes around three weeks.

WHERE DO WE PICK UP THE PHOTOS?

If you live in Las Palmas I will bring the photos to you at home. If not, we will arrange to meet at a convenient location in Las Palmas where you can park easily. If you don't live on the island I can send the order to you by post.

WILL YOU PUBLISH OUR PHOTOS ON THE WEB?

I do not publish anything without your consent. I only upload photographs to the web and social networks for which I have signed authorization from the model or their legal guardian. Of course if you let me post pictures of your family I will be eternally grateful because posting my work is the best way for other families and clients to find me.

CAN WE GIVE A PHOTO SESSION AS A GIFT?

Yes! If you want to buy a photo session for someone you love, please contact me. This is something I always get especially excited about. I will create a personalized gift card which I will deliver to you (within the municipality of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria) or send by email for you to print. The gift card is valid for three months from the date it is sent, and is not refundable.
